Mae Sa Waterfall is another iconic image of Chiang Mai, although less famous than some other sites. The impressive waterfall has eight tiers set against a backdrop of huge trees. The cool climate throughout the year makes it a very popular rendezvous for locals. Foreigners often combine the trip with a visit to the Mae Sa Elephant Training Centre.
