The Embassy of Japan in Bangkok provides consular and Japan visa services, as well as assistance to Japanese nationals in Thailand. The Japan Information Service (JIS) provides information and services relating to cultural relations, youth exchange and government exchange programs between Japan and Thailand.
The Japan Visa Application Centre (JVAC) located on the 15th floor, Unit C of Silom Complex Building also handles applications and collections for all visa categories except diplomatic and official affairs.
There is a Consulate-General of Japan in Chiang Mai, located at the Airport Business Park (Tel: 05 320 3367, Fax: 05 320 3373).
