The museum was formerly the residence of Prince Damrong Rajanupharb. Starting at the Library Hall, visitors will find a great collection of priceless books in Thai and foreign languages collected by the Prince.
The Disvarakumar Gallery was recently opened and houses a number of photographs of Prince Damrong while at work, as well as exhibits of his written works. Prince Damrong was the first Thai citizen to be honoured by UNESCO.
