Information

Another beautiful work of art executed by Mother Nature, this scenic cliff overlooking the Ping River was formed by the uplifting of sedimentary rock along a fault line, followed by millennia of erosion by the elements.

The location inspired a tragic legend about an aristocratic maiden and her lover, a man of humble birth, who are said to have made a suicide pact, jumping off this cliff in order to escape her angry father who disapproved of the liaison.

From the town of Hot, take Highway 1103 southwards for 16 kilometres and then turn right onto Rural Highway 4011. Three kilometres later, the road forks. Bear right and you\'ll come to Pha Wing Chu at the end of what is a rather short road.
