A mere three-hour drive from Bangkok, this little resort offers all you need for a dream seaside vacation. The design of the exterior is Balinese-influenced with wooden doors and window frames painted a lovely shade of purple, while the interiors are traditional Thai in style. The main, two-storey structure houses four guest rooms ranging in area from 25 to 50m2. There's also a 80m2 villa complete with two king-size beds, a kitchen and living room. During my two-day stay there I never felt the need to venture beyond the resort. This would be an ideal place to throw a private party for up to 50 guests.
