Information
Over a thousand years old and built on an extinct volcano, this historical site is one of the best preserved sites in Thailand of the Khmer era. The buildings were constructed almost entirely of limestone and laterite, and decorated elaborately with carvings and engravings. One of the most spectacular elements of the site is the grand stairway leading to the buildings.
