Information
Offering a lot of ancient objects from the Dvaravati, Lop Buri and Lanchang eras, this archaeological site is actually better known for its peculiar rock formations. Many of the structures built were adaptations of the geography, and as such, rocks and hills were carved into stupas or other elements.
The site was declared a historical park by the Fine Arts Department in 1991, and excavations have discovered sandstone images and idols, cave paintings and stone axes.
The park is around 1,200 acres, and also includes a number of caves worthy of exploring.
