Information
Ao Phang-nga National Park is a beautiful mass of land and sea rock formations resulting from fault movements, particularly the northeast trending of the Klong Marui fault. The high ground is produced by massive limestone blocks displaying classic karst scenery extending southward into Phangnga Bay, where they form islands with vertical cliffs. The large and small tidal channels connected to the fluvial system of the mainland add up to the hypnotic and relaxing atmosphere.
