This island is hailed as one of the most beautiful islands in Trang. Located about 40 minutes by boat from the mainland, most of the island falls under the jurisdiction of the Hat Chao Mai National Park, while there are some privately owned rubber and coconut plantations. The oblong shape of the island has given it its name, Kradan, meaning 'plank'. One side of the island has a beautiful beach, Yang Long, while the other side is rich in coral reefs.
