This small island with a long sandy beach in the east and unspoiled coral reefs in shallow water at the beachfront is located south of Lanta Island and 12 kilometres off the coast of Trang. The coastal areas offer some great beaches and also opportunities for snorkelling and other water sports. The inland areas are planted with coconut plantations, and visitors might see crab-eating monkeys and monitor lizards come out of the mountains.
