Banrimkwae Paerimnam is located in Sai Yok district of Kanchanaburi. This riverside resort is set by the River Kwai with the historic Death Railway directly behind it running along the mountainside. Guests can choose to stay in the floating river raft "house boats" or in the hillside cottages and villas. There are many activities provided by the resort such as: elephant treks, cave exploring, campfires, river rafting and much more. One of the signature events at this resort is its nightly son-et-lumiere (light & sound) show which gives guests a reflection of life during the building of the "Death Railway" during World War Two.
