Although nowhere near the ocean, the province of Khon Kaen does boast two very popular beaches. Located on the edge of the Ubon Ratana Dam, the beaches are quite picturesque. There are several water sporting activities available, including banana boats, water bicycles and water scooters. Restaurants nearby offer freshly caught fish.
