Phu Chaisai Mountain Resort & Spa is located in Mae Chan district of Chiang Rai. This family-run boutique resort aims to be an environmentally-friendly and self-sufficient habitat. They cultivate a tea plantation, garden, herbs and fruit farm for the restaurant's menu. The drinking water undergoes a reverse osmosis (RO) process for purification. The resort consists of 50 terraced bamboo cottage rooms that are spread over three hills. Guests can expect full 5-star treatment and facilities, but should not expect blaring televisions or beeping alarm clocks as most rooms do not have these "urban disturbances".
