This particular mountain feature can be observed while driving along the highway from Chiang Rai to Mae Sai. The mountains on the left form what appears to look like a woman sleeping, her hair flowing towards the north. The mountains here are mostly limestone, and the areas closest to the main highway are relatively bare.
