One of my very favorite places to visit in Thailand. Too bad many of the old Chinese are not more welcoming. I feel they would like me to just leave my money at the door and go away. A real mecca for tea lovers. And amazing how many Taiwanese visit here. I understand the original tea clippings came from there. These people are virulently anti-Communist, having lost to Mao over sixty years ago. They were given Thai citizenship in the seventies after helping defeat the insurgency in the mountains back in those days.
