Surin National Museum was established in 1974. The museum houses art objects and historical artefacts related to Surin's history.
In 1992, a new plan was initiated by the Fine Arts Department, and the museum buildings were completely refurbished. Additional buildings include exhibition and other facilities such as auditorium, children room, storehouse, Etc.
