Located in Mae Fa Luang District, this mountain stands 48 kilometres from Chiang Rai. The main attraction of the mountain is the Doi Tung Palace and Mae Fa LUang Botanical Gardens. There are also a number of religious sites of importance on the mountain, as well as hill tribe villages.
