Information
Khao Khunpanom is a tree-covered limestone mountain. The mountain contains caves with stalagmites and stalactites. The mountain itself is approximately 750 metres long and about 500 metres wide. The mountain has a number of important elements other than the caves, which include a scientific research centre as well as a shrine and palace that are believed to have been built and used by King Taksin. There is evidence that the temple was built during the Ayuthaya period.
