Thailand and Myanmar will sign a visa-exemption agreement during a meeting of ministers in late November, according to a Thai Foreign Ministry official.

The agreement will be signed at the Thai-Myanmar Joint Commission meeting set for Nov 21-23, said an official close to the issue, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul will rubberstamp the agreement with his Myanmar counterpart Wunna Maung Lwin, the official said.
