The I Tara Resort and Spa is a new resort located on the beach front in Petchburi Province, about 2 Km from Laem Phak Bia. The hotel features 73 rooms in 3 different categories, all with either balcony or terrace and a choice of 2 restaurants as well as a beach front swimming pool. Free Wifi is available to the residents of the I Tara Resort and Spa. The property features as well a lobby bar as well as a pool bar where clients can enjoy refreshments all-day long.
In addition, the hotel offers a fitness center, traditional Thai Massage as well as the I-Spa popular for the Salt Spa treatments. A tour counter is available as well to arrange excursions and car rental. The resort is a non smoking property.

Accommodation and facilities:
The hotel was still under construction when we went there but it was not a problem. All the staff was very kind and helpful. The room (standard) was big enough, nice and clean. The beach is small but enough to swim. The resort is a bit far from every thing so it may not be a good place to stay if you do not have your own transport. But all the rest was very good. We will probably go again to this resort.

coastline of the Gulf of Thailand, of which is in the Phetchburi province. This beach
is still a very natural and quiet place and just recently recognized as a great beach
destination due to a completion of the local road. The first sand beach is surrounded
by plenty mangrove, salt fields and fisherman villages. i Tara Resort and Spa is the
only resort on this two kilometer beach which make its visitors feel like living in
their private beach. To be our executive guests, you only spend one and a half hour
from central Bangkok and the Suvarnabhumi international airport. Phetchburi province is recognized as the lost-to-the future city since Ayuthaya regime. Many temples both built in the Ayuthaya era or before its time are still in a good condition. Moreover, the Petchburi province is the only province outside Bangkok that has three palaces constructed in the period of King Rama the Forth, King Rama the Fifth and King Rama the sixth. King Rama the Ninth, the present great king, has settled more than 20 royal projects in this province, highest in the country. One well recognized royal project is the Laem Phakbia project, which is a reputed waste water management system. This effective project makes a huge improvement of sea and coastline natural resources of this area. Therefore, there are plenty of sea-birds, sea-creatures as well as local lively communities surrounds the I Tara Resort and Spa. |
