as not many foreign tourists seem to stay at this place or the town in general, communication in English turned out to be pretty difficult with hotel staff.
everything worked as expected. Would book again over sawadee.com
Booked the room after studying the website. The reality was a disappointment. The staff seemed not interested in receiving guests. A bellboy had not discovered his duty to assist guests with their luggage. No Englishspeaking staff. Internet did not function. The aircon could not be adjusted. A socalled cocktail lounge with Singha beer and orange juice the only choices. This hotel can not be recommended.
The Bangkok Post link to hotels is good. However, the hoel s website did only allow for a one room booking. I needed another room for my driver, which turned out to be impossible. Choose to pay cash instead.
OK, clean, comfortable and quiet. Good bed. Felt it was bit overpriced overall though, considering these non-room issues. Breakfast was very basic (fried eggs (no other choice), salad, store-bought white bread for toasting, old oranges, khao tom gai (the best of them, actually quite good), fried noodles, chicken ham. Very weak coffee one day, OK another day. That s it. Also, faucets in room gave no hot water, one handle fell off. Air con was very cold although set to warmest temperature and lowest fan speed. Turned off eventually but room quickly heated up from thermal mass of building, so used a.c. anyway.
Very, very good. Always been satisfied with sawadee.com. Smooth, effortless online system. If any issues arise (room unavailable; need to modify booking), they deal with them quickly by email.
It is a problem that people working in hotel reception don t speak English. And I was told to pay my stay both when I check-in and check-out even if I showed them the voucher I got from you!!
Hotel is a decent place to stay. Nightlife in hotel is good with Peony bar. Hotel staffs are friendly but with limited English speakers. Food in hotel is good. Overall, a place where I will stay again.
Fast and easy service.
Very good hotel, but one big problem: No one understand English! If you tell your room number in English to people in the reception, they don t understand what you say!
Nice staff, poor knowledge of english
the hotel is in need of major refurbishment. rooms are old and tired i had deluxe.................not sure what made it deluxe. public areas shabby. breakfast dreadful. swimming pool closed, looks like it s been closed for a long time. hotel used by coach parties.i think if it was up to individual customers ,they would not get many customers. but the location was good.
good booking service
no hot water
the best in Thailand
Good location, comfortable room and accommodating staff. Good value for the price.
Flawless booking system that is easy to navigate
Moderate sized room, room safe, mini bar at floor level(sm local beer B55).Bathrobes and slippers provided. Cable TV poor reception/connection,only Star Movies in English. Bathroom, clean, good range of toiletries but poor shower water pressure. Pool closed at time of visit. Buffet b fast average to poor, limited choice and no egg station. Good location in town. Many nice restaurants within 10 min walk at road behind hotel and 15 min to Banhan Tower.
Reception manned by 3 giggling girls who, not having one word of english, resorted to giggling behind their hands at every question. Having paid in advance by credit card it was swiped again as they did not understand. Carpet on corridor leading to room 526 is worn, dirty and in parts torn. Room has dirty carpet, exceptionally noisy air conditioner. We had to choose between leaving on the air conditioner to try and drown out the loud boom boom music coming from somewhere inside the hotel. There had been a leak in the bathroom, and walls in the room generally could be cleaned up or painted. Breakfast was good, service was good, served in dark area leading to main night entertainment area. Would never consider this hotel again.
booking software excellent, response great, led to believe the hotel itself would match up.
