Bhumiyama beach resort is a combined word: Bhumi ( poom ) means land or place, yama is a realm of heavens in Buddhism where deities and beings who have expert (done) noble deeds come to dwell in opulent peace and tranquility. Ours beach resort in tropical garden surroundings with 45 rooms fitted with air condition and all facilities in the room plus safety box all amenities. Nevertheless more than 80 present of the land is the Park Forest reserve, that’s the main reason why we are chosen as our home, to build a tropical resort, in an uncluttered traditional Thai style with all modern facilities & services. A large amount of our guests relax in a natural and surroundings with tropical forest to the rear, white sand and Turquoise Ocean to the front. Our beach is called " Tha Nam" beach or the more well-known name will be " Lonely Beach" make famous by travelers who commented in Lonely Planet as to be the best and most beautiful on Koh Chang.

Vi har bott på många ställen i Thailand, men detta är bland dom bästa vi bott på. Bra standard på rummet (Seaview Delux),trevlig personal, även om deras engelska inte var den bästa, så löste dom allt med ett leende! På frukostbordet saknade jag absolut inget.Vi åt inga middagar på hotellet, men hörde av andra att det var sådär. Men, det förekommer mycket hög musik från backpackerställena som omger hotellet vissa nätter. Om jag återvänder, troligt, så kommer jag inte att välja beachfront utan längre in på området på grund av detta. Lonley Beach är en underbar och avslappnat ställe att vara på.

First time in Koh Chang after many holidays in Phuket ans Samui. Awesome beach, very quiet (Even for Songkran). Renting canoe for 80 bht / hour just near the hotel. You will need a taxi or bike to go to the city. Nice hotel, trying to be upscale ... Nice Garden View Room. We had some minor problems with hot water, service guy arrive 2 mn after to fix it. Breakfast is ok, sometimes cold. The view from breakfast table is outstanding. Nice pool with Jacuzzi. Many chairs to relax at pool or near the beach. Overall good short stay but need more smiles around ... Except this, good hotel, a little overpriced for the quality. At 2.500 THB / day, this can be much better. We dont need upscale with air-cond 5th generation ... that this is so complex to use :-)) ... medium scale with more smiles can be better. Recommended for tranquillity / couple / children who dont want to go out by night.

I would like to thank personnel of the Bhumiyama Beach Resort for excellent services and very friendly attitude. The conditions of the stay was very good, especially the room facilities, whiah are only few meters from the sand beach. I would definitly recommend the Hotel for longer stay.

We are on Koh Chang ( Chang Island ) in Trat province,
the eastern most province of Thailand. Koh Chang is the second largest in
