Baan Krating Pai Resort a natural resort ideally located on the banks of the River Pai, only a 20-minutes' walk from Pai town centre. The location offers spectacular scenery, with endless mountain views and golden rice paddy fields.
Baan Krating Pai featuring 32 detached and semi-detached villas, charmingly decorated in northern Thai style and fully equipped with modern facilities. Guests can enjoy a freeform swimming pool and outdoor jacuzzi in a rural and picturesque surrounding.
Baan Krating Pai Resort provides all-day dining, serving a great selection of international and authentic northern Thai cuisine. With a wealth of outdoor activities, including river kayaking and rafting, trekking, and sightseeing tours, this resort is a perfect holiday destination for nature lovers.
The resort is only about 2 km from the high street. Easy access for anyone who can ride a motorcycle or even a bicycle. But it is very dark after the sunset and might not be safe to cycle. However the resort has a free and private shuttle service for drop-off and pick-up. Staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The room I was staying was very spacious and clean. The only facility is a pool - very nice overlooking the pai river with a view of surrounding mountains. I didn t eat in the restaurant as choices were very limited and nothing special...

we stayed 10 days with children! staff very helpful and fiendly,shuttle sevice to town(2 km) provided for free, great pool by the river, beautiful wellkept garden, but the restaurant not to recommend because no guests, they cook for groups only. we loved our stay!

Situation géographique idéale, très beaux paysages ( montagnes )près de la rivière. Beaux aménagements paysagers qui auraient avantage à être mieux entretenus! Belle grande chambre confortable, salle de bain sombre!!!cachet campagnard??? Le lieu pour le petit-déjeuner est MISÉRABLE...la bouffe est mal présentée, ce n est pas propre et pas très bon!!!!! D ailleurs la réception de l hotel est peu acceuillante.

this is a nice bungalow place. it was not very busy in november so you feel kind of lonely when you are there. they hardly speak english, so it is not very easy to communicate. the pool (situated just beside the river, very nice!) was an asset to the place since there is not so much action going on in pai. call them in advance to get a ride from the bus station (no taxis available!) or the little airport.

The hotel is nice, the bungalow spacious and clean. The negative point is the service : the staff is nice, but can not speak English and any time I asked for information, when they understood, they answered ask in town . The resort is 2 kms away from the center and it charges 100 baths to get there, so you have to rent a bike. In conclusion, nice place but very expensice for what you get.
