The Sukorn Andaman Beach Resort is located in the west of the island in the center of Ban Koh beach. Since only three resorts share the beach tranquility and relaxation is guaranteed. The resort offers a total of 20 rooms and bungalows with fan or air conditioner on the spacious grounds. All guests can also use a Wi-Fi Internet connection free of charge. The restaurant offers a selection of Thai specialties and freshly caught seafood. In the vicinity you can experience traditional island life up close and watch the locals fishing, rice cultivation and the production of rubber. Activities include kayaking along the coast, cycling on the island, fishing trips and boat trips to neighboring islands.

With only three small resorts on this kilometer long beach, the atmosphere is definitely quiet and casually relaxed.
And these three beach bungalow establishments are pretty much the sum total of tourist accommodation on the island.
First time visitors arriving from the more hectic environments of other nearby tourist destinations
are often heard to comment on the quiet, relaxed pace here on Sukorn Island.
And no wonder! Larger scale, fast-paced industrial tourism seems to have given this place a miss.
First time visitors to Sukorn Andaman Resort often come for a night and stay for a week.
Or perhaps longer. This can be a place that’s hard to leave. Many of the guests are "long stay",
arriving in December and staying until the weather warms back home.
Almost everyone is a "repeat" visitor. It’s hard to find a more relaxed atmosphere, a more beautiful setting.
Resort managers Sam and Rona and their friendly staff have a knack for making their guests feel comfortably at home in a relaxed,
casual atmosphere. Head cook Jai and her competent kitchen staff can speedily create gourmet meals,
beginning with an extensive breakfast menu (included in the room rate).
They also offer an impressive list of Thai dishes, often including fresh daily, locally caught seafood prepared exactly as you wish.

SERVICES & FACILITIES
When you can finally pry yourself away from the beach, a walk,
bike ride or motorbike trip into one of the four villages will provide
a chance to observe truly traditional ways of island life.
Watch as the rice farmers complete their rice harvest, largely by hand,
and replant with watermelon for the dry season.
Or look in on families laboriously preparing sheets of latex from their rubber plantation,
or fishermen overhauling their nets for the next nights fishing.
Wherever you go, you’ll be greeted with welcoming smiles and perhaps a friendly attempt at conversation.
