The Santiburi Resort is a superb year round treasured paradise set amidst 23 acres of meticulously nurtured tropical gardens with a river gently meandering down to a private 300 meter white sand beach. Santiburi Resort provides individual accommodation that offers the last word in luxury. Hidden among the tropical greenery, and widely spaced for optimum privacy, are 12 Equatorial suites, 57 deluxe villas and 2 Santiburi Villas. Each villa is designed like an elegant Thai home, with beautiful wooden floors, opulent Siamese furnishings and a large terrace overlooking the beach and gardens. Dining at Santiburi is a delight as much for the romantic venues as well as for the diverse choice of culinary styles. Attentive yet unobtrusive service in the timeless Thai way, complements the culinary excellence and the irresistible charm of the surroundings.

Accommodation and facilities:
I would like to thank the staff at Santiburi Beach Resort for being so efficient, thoughtful and kind to me and my family whilst we were there. Unfortunately I was admitted to hospital during our stay and the staff went out of their way to help us contact doctors and arrange for me to get to the hospital. When I was discharged from hospital the hotel gave me a bunch of red roses. Mae Nam is a quieter part of Koh Samui but that s what we were looking for. My 2 year old son loved the kids club and the staff there were excellent with him.

We were totally astounded at the wonderful service friendly people always so keen to please us right down to the gardeners always smiling and friendly. Your resort was always so beautiful the rooms were to die for absolutely stunning. The bikes for the kids was such a brilliant idea and my kids certainly enjoyed them. the coconut painting such a great idea. The food yummies. We have certainly and will carry on recomending your wonderful Resort to everyone! The golf course is amazing too! (Could you please if possible let us know how much it would cost to become a member of the golf course as currently it is possible we might be staying on Samui Island for 6 months or more depending on husbands work contract. Starting in January 2011 Any further infomation on the expat school would be greatly appreciated too. thank You!! Andre and Denise Travis and Liameo Letts

A wonderful hotel with beautifully maintained grounds, stayed in a beach front villa, good sized bedroom and bathroom, all staff were exceptional, friendly, helpfull and attentive, drinks and food on the pricey side as you would expect, quality of food first class. A lovely quiet beach sea a bit rough for swimming (maybe time of year) and no lifeguards, hotel pool was great enormous and heated. we had a very pleasant stay and would probably return.

Words alone cannot do justice to the majesty of Mae Nam Beach. Dotted with ageless and regal palm trees, and carpeted with

ACCOMMODATION
Our "Equatorial Duplex Suites" are located in the main building overlooking the pool area, whereas the "Villas" are spread in our tropical garden.
Each villa type is identical in interior and size – they only vary in their location.
Each Villas is designed like an authentic Thai house with locally made wooden parquet floor, Siamese furniture and spacious, luxurious bathroom. A special feature is the private terrace from where you can either see the beach or the garden. All Villas have sufficient space between each other to guarantee total privacy. Throughout the resort new design-trends blend in skillfully with authentic Thai architecture - creating the special ambience of the resort. Our villas create the original character of our "peaceful village Santiburi" : You live in a luxury villa with a terrace in an authentic Thai-style:
Floor with Teakwood and Thai silk-materiel, as well as luxury baths with two washbasins, shower and a round bathtub in marble.
All Suites without Plunge Pool are similar in its size and decor – their only difference is their location in the tropical garden. The River Villa suites are located in the back line near the river.

Size and decor are the same as in the River Villa suite but its located in the middle of the tropical garden.

These villas feature an additional luxury with an own Plunge Pool with continuous water intake that offers a wonderful refresher on your own private terrace.
These villas are located in the front line very close to the sea. The furniture is like the villas above.
Beach Front Villa - 1 bedroom - 60 sq.m.
This type of villa with its direct location at the sea features you a perfect holiday feeling!
From the sleeping and living area you have a panorama view directly at the sea and the Koh Phangan Island on the horizon!
The private terrace is also directly facing to the sea. Size and furniture is the same like the other types of villas.

LOCATION MAP
At the northern tip of the island within easy access of the islands scenic attractions, it is situated in between the town of Nathon,
Koh Samui commercial center and Chaweng beach, the bustling tourist hub.
These towns are located approximately 20 minutes by taxi or private car either way from the Santiburi Resort,
Bo Phut or Fishermans Village among the oldest of Koh Samuis fishing hamlets stretching along the coastline is some 10 minutes drive from the resort,
and is a favourite among visitors for dining out. Koh Phangan famous for its regular Full Moon Parties is a short boat ride across from the resort.
Many favored diving spots are within easy reach and sailing arrangements can be made directly with the resort for a fee. Regular sailings are usually available from the main land at Surat Thani City or ferry from Don Sak pier. Sailing time is approximately two to three hours with disembarkation in Nathon. Samui airport is a 15-minute drive from the resort. Samui can be reached via regular scheduled direct flights from Bangkok, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Phuket and Singapore.
