The Tongsai Bay is located on the paradise island of Koh Samui. This five star property is tucked away exclusively with its own private little beach. The resort proves itself as a perfect getaway among the natural surrounding of Samui Island. All 83 rooms in a vast area of 25 acres of land surrounded by tropical nature, offer sea view with 4 main types of accommodation namely Beachfront Suites, Cottages Suites, Tongsai Grand Villas and Tongsai Pool Villas. Good service, very good location, nice beach. Only 2 restaurants- not enough for guests.Very friendly and helpful staff and management.I really enjoyed staying there.

the location is good as it is far from the down town noise and a real private place. srvice is also good though some of the facilities are becoming quite out dated.

very nice hotel. very quiet. we stayed at the sea front cottage and found the romm very comfortable. food is good. friendly staff. private beach is nice, but the sea was not calm enough. not worth to go for the beach from Turkey.

This resort is a honeymooner s paradise if quiet pampering times is what you are after. definitly 5 star with the service, and the staff are so friendly and kind. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. Nothing is ever a problem and staff are always happy to help. Beach does have very coarse sand but does not stop using beach and is not harsh on the feet. Restaurant food is amazing with moderate pricing. We stayed in one of the cottage suites which has recently been renovated. My wife and i were amazed with the size of the split level cottage and views are breath taking. The resort is massive and there are golf buggies to take you around.Some of the walks to the suites can be tiring as they are situated on hill sides and have some steep inclines. Main part of samui is a 300b trip and about 15 min. Overall well worth the stay.

My wife and I had a spectacular time at Tongsai Bay. The resort itself was spectacular, rooms were great, beach was beautiful and facilities were top notch. More importantly, however, is the service from the staff - impeccable! They couldnt have done anymore for us during our stay. Not only were they extremely polite and attentive, but they went the extra step where possible to make our stay super special. For one, the birthday cake they left for Laura s birthday - we hadnt even mentioned it to staff, I cant think of any other hotel Ive stayed at even considering doing such a thing. Full marks to Tongsai Bay, we highly recommend it to anyone wanting a truly relaxing and indulgent getaway. Thank you! korb khun.

The hotel is really superb ,we reserved a grand villa and the sea view is incredible ,i ve never seen something like that ! The restaurant are good and the chef chom s thai restaurant is fantastic for a very reasonnable price, we really enjoyed it . the only bad point is that the beach is not really good and there are very big waves ,so the swim in the sea can be dangerous .There is a lot of steps too to acess to your bungalow ,so it was a bit difficult with our baby stroller ,but there is buggy for transportation inside the hotel domain . L hotel est superbe et le service top aussi .Nous avions reservé un tongsai grand villa ( chambre 502) et la vue était fantastique ,on voyait la mer turquoise à 360 degré . Les restaurants sont bons aussi ,surtout le restuarant thai ,chef chom, en plus ce n est pas cher pour la qualité de la nourriture ! Nous avions une seule deception : la plage .Le sable était gros et faisait mal au pied et le mer est toujours très agitée dans la baie ,il y a toujours beaucoup de vague ( jusqu à 1 metre !)et la baignaide est souvent -sinon toujours pour les enfants ou les gens qui ne nagent pas très bien- dangereuse. Du coup on été surtout à la piscine

All 83 rooms in a vast area of 25 acres of land, surrounded by tropical nature, offer sea view with 4 main types of accommodation namely Beachfront Suites, Cottages Suites, Tongsai Grand Villas and Tongsai Pool Villas.

:: Beachfront Suites (72 sq.m.) ::
24 Beachfront Suites are in a 3-storeyed building next to the beach and pools. All have a secluded bathtub,
2 sun loungers, a dining and writing table and full fronted sea views, 44 m2 air-conditioned area,
8 Suites on the ground floor are suitable for families in a way that each has a direct access from the balcony to the beach
and pools and its overall size is as large as 86 m2 divided into 36 m2 balcony and
6 m2 backyard as opposed to the upper floor suites which are only 72 m2.
Due to larger area and ground location, Beachfront Suites on the ground floor
can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children under 12 and are more suitable for families.
:: Cottage Suites (68 - 78 sq.m.) ::
The Cottage Suites stand among coconut trees and tropical gardens on the hillside overlooking the sea.
Most are semi-detached with a split-level design of bedroom and living area.
To capture the very best seaviews the cottages are all slightly different in shape and arranged on different levels.
Each has a private open-air balcony complete with our signature "bath-with-a- view", 2 sun-loungers
and a dining/writing table. The standard sizes of cottages are 68 - 78 m2 and can only take 3 peoples maximum.
:: Seafront Cottage (68 - 78 sq.m.) ::
The Seafront Cottages have the same design and facilities as Cottage Suites
including our signature "bath-with-a- view" and are located along the edge of the cliff
overlooking the sea offering spectacular seaviews and privacy.
:: Tongsai Grand Villa (135 sq.m.) ::
9 Tongsai Grand Villas and 2 other special villas were open for business in December 1998.
They are on the hillside on the right-hand side of The Tongsai Bay, opposite to where Cottage and Beachfront Suites stand.
They are created in compliance with our philosophy to encourage guests to go back to nature wherever and whenever possible.
:: Tongsai Pool Villa (185 sq.m.) ::
4 Tongsai Pool Villas (185 m2) are the most recent type of accommodation, added in December 2003
and completed its refurbishment in December 2005. They are in the same area as Tongsai Grand Villas,
offering the same facilities as Grand Villa as well as its own private plunge pool of 3 x 5 metres.
:: Seafront Pool Villa (194 sq.m.) ::
2 Seafront Pool Villas are located in the middle of the front row of the Tongsai Grand Villas
and have the same facilities as the Tongsai Grand Villas but offer a splendid clear sea view.
Each villa has a total area of 194 sq.m. with an open-air area of 116 sq.m. on the terrace
and the back of the villa and 54 sq.m. of air-conditioned bedroom. It contributes even more to the great outdoor living
idea with a 24 sq.m. private plunge pool (3.3 x 7.3 m.) with the depth 1.2 m. on the extended part of the terrace.

:: Chef Chom Thai Restaurant ::
is located on the hill leading down to the beach, right by the Lobby Lounge. It is named after the renowned Chef Piengchom Dhabanand, who comes form a family of cooks who used to serve in the palace of the late Princess Vibhavadee Rangsit. The restaurant seats 100 persons a maximum indoor and on the terrace. It offers spectacular views over the bay.
Open 07:00 - 10:30 hrs. : International Buffet Breakfast with an OPEN BAKERY making fresh-from-the-oven bread, rolls and croissants for breakfast. Guests can watch their bread being baked right in front of them.
Open 19:00 - 22:00 hrs. : Royal Thai Cuisine with a la carte menu and occasional theme nights also with open kitchen and fresh seafood.

PRANA SPA
Prana Spa specializes in a relaxing technique whereby the mind and body synchronized,
which can help control or decrease the stress response. When tension is relaxed,
the muscle ceases to contract while blood vessels reduce vascular constriction and allow circulation to flow freely.
Open daily for massages and spa treatments from 10:00 - 21:00 hrs. Each of the 3 private rooms has 2 massage beds,
2 treatment beds, foot massage area, either a rainfall or a waterfall shower, a floral bath and a steam room.
Privacy is enhanced with each spa cottage limited to 2 people. Reservation in advance is required.

Our Private Beach is 200 metres long and never gets crowded. The whole Tongsai Bay is yours. You can sunbathe in peace, no beach vendors, no stray dogs, and no passersby. Our main, free form, swimming pool is right by the beach next to Floyd Beach Bistro and the Beachfront Suite Building.
It is accompanied by a small Jacuzzi pool and a children wading pool. Another half moon-shaped swimming pool is added above Sip Internet Cafe. Children under 14 are not allowed in this area to keep the area tranquil and peaceful.
