Testing trail for bikers Rayong bound

If you have travelled to Rayong's famous Samet Island before, you probably have seen those hills with telecommunication towers on top just a few kilometres before Ban Phae, the town where the ferry piers are located. Then again, with your thoughts probably already on the beaches and the island ahead of you by that point, perhaps you have never noticed those seemingly uninteresting hills off the highway.

They are known as Khao Yai Da. And from now on perhaps they might be one of the first things you would look for the next time you happen to be in that area. And if you are keen on downhill mountain-biking, Khao Yai Da will easily replace Koh Samet as your top destination in this eastern province.
