Like the circle of life, which has a beginning and an end, the life of stone-finished bowls also known as khan long hin in the Ban Bu community is approaching its last breath.

"It is sad to know that this Ayutthaya heritage will likely end in my generation," said Metta "Sangsajja" Salanon, manager of Jiam Sangsajja stone-finished bowl factory, the only remaining khan long hin maker in the capital.
