Two years after ash-cloud chaos, Iceland tourism soars

According to a report published by the Icelandic Tourist Board, the number of foreign travelers visiting Iceland so far in 2012 has increased by 19.1 percent.

The report shows that 618,901 foreign travelers have visited Iceland so far in 2012, which represents 99,000 more tourists than in the same period last year.
