Bangkok-Cambodia buses launched

The first buses directly connecting Thailand and Cambodia left Bangkok on Thursday, headed for Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, with the launch of a regular service to bolster tourism and economic ties between the two countries.

The first airconditioned bus from Bangkok to Phnom Penh left Mor Chit terminal, followed by the first bus to Siem Reap, the Transport Co announced.

    i think it is a great service and i too would like to know about the visa situation at the border, has the new thai/cambodian joint visa come in yet as this would definetly help, if not can you get the cambodian visa ($US25 plus picture) at this border, also do you swap bus's at the border,is there a web site where you can buy this ticket or where are they sold in either cambodia or bangkok/pattaya, is there a joining bus from pattaya to bangkok and vice versa and lastly is there a web site were we can find out all the info needed re my comments
    i am from australia and intend to go between phnom penh (cambodia) and pattaya (thailand)

    I'd like to know how they are handling the visa process, specifically for foreigners on the bus. If they don't have something worked out passengers need to add 2-4 hours for Thai immigration at Aranyaprathet.
