Art of salt in Phetchaburi

From March 15-17, the ''Art Of Salt Fair'' will take place at Kilometre Posts 25 and 41 of Rural Development Highway No.2021 in Phetchaburi's Ban Laem district. Visitors will have an opportunity to see sculptures made of salt, visit Ban Laem Salt Museum and shop for products and food from all over the district.

Hosted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand's local office and the province's commercial office with support from Rajabhat University Phetchaburi, Phetchaburi's Biz Club and One Tambon One Product (Otop) networks, Ban Laem Salt Farmers' Co-Operative and other local groups, the event is aimed at creating educational activities based on travel experiences on the ''Salt Road'' and promoting travel along the Klong Khone-Bang Taboon-Ban Laem-Hat Chao-Cha-am route.
