The face of experience

This picture was taken recently in Sukhothai where we were visiting the Historical Park to enjoy all the temples and ancient history of this former capital of Thailand. The site was very impressive and I took a lot of photos, but in the end I came to the conclusion that this was the best of all. Not, as might be expected, an image of one of the many temples but a snap of an old lady who was selling corn.
We felt practically obliged to buy some of her wares so I took the opportunity to ask her in my rudimentary Thai whether it'd be alright if I took a photo of her. Her time-weathered features and traditional hat make for a great composition, don't you think?
