Local colour: Colourful resorts on Phu Thap Boek in Phetchabun's Lom Kao district will soon be repainted brown to make them blend in with their natural surroundings. They will also be renovated to accommodate up to 20 guests at a time and their operators have been ordered to construct gable roofs on each property. All of these measures are part of the local authorities' plan to re-regulate Phu Thap Boek.

Phetchabun: The government will permit 50 members of Hmong ethnic group living on Phu Thap Boek in Phetchabun to maintain their resort after a previous order to demolish the settlements.
