New chairman at the wheel for Toyota Thailand

Kalin Sarasin has been appointed as new chairman of the board of directors at Toyota Motor Thailand, replacing Ninnart Chaithirapinyo.

Kalin currently serves as senior chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and as an advisor to the president and CEO of Siam Cement Group. Bringing to TMT his considerable knowledge, ability and experience, he assumed the role on April 1.

Ninnart served as chairman of the board of TMT for more than six years beginning in 2017, completing his term on March 31. During his tenure, he contributed significantly to the company in terms of management and enabled Toyota Motor Thailand to maintain its position as a leading automobile company in the country.

As of April 1, Ninnart has been officially appointed as honorary executive advisor, replacing the now-retired Pramon Sutivong.
