Look before you buy: Hertz offers EV rentals

Those who want to have an EV experience without having to purchase one can simple rent one from Hertz.

Great Wall Motor (Thailand) recently delivered 20 units of the ORA Good Cat 400 TECH to Hertz Thailand (via Paragon Car Rental), which will be offering them at its Sathon, Don Muang, Suvarnabhumi and Phuket branches.

According to a press release from GWM Thailand, customers can book an ORA Good Cat through the Hertz Thailand App at a starting price of 999 baht per day (not including insurance).

"We are delighted to provide ORA Good Cats to those interested in test-driving and daily usage," said Rattawut Panichewa, CEO of Paragon Car Rental. "Our customers can choose from daily, weekly, monthly and yearly rental services, with professional car management systems cultivated from 19 years of business experience in Thailand."

GWM says the Good Cat 400 can run for up to 400km on a single charge. The battery can be charged from 0-86% in 46 minutes using a DC quick charger, compared to eight hours by home AC.

Up to date more than 2,500 units of the Good Cat have been sold in Thailand.
