SET up 8.49 point at opening

Thai stocks opened up 0.55% at the start of trade this morning.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index opened at 1,540.12 points, up 8.49 points from Wednesday's close. The trade value was 2.55 billion baht, with 504 million shares traded.

The SET50 index opened at 982.55 points, up 5.65 points or 0.58%, with a total trade value of 1.43 billion baht.

The MAI index opened up 2.05 points or 0.36% to stand at 567.59 points with total transaction value of 182 million baht.
