SET jumps 15.38 to 1,547.01

The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index rose 1.00%, or 15.38 points, to 1,547.01 on Thursday.

Total trading value was 59.9 billion baht, with 15.08 billion shares changed hands.

SET50 index jumped 1.11%, or 10.83 points, to 987.73 in trade worth 34.19 billion baht.

MAI gained 1.05%, or 5.92 points, to 571.46 in transactions worth 3.15 billion baht.

Institutional investors bought a net 1.79 billion baht, followed by foreign investors (418.49 million). Individual investors sold 1.98 billion baht while brokers sold 225.79 billion.

Year-to-date, foreigners were the largest net buyers (106.21 billion baht), followed by brokers (21.28 billion). Local individuals were the biggest sellers, at 98.41 billion baht, followed by institutional investors (29.07 billion).
