The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index opened at 1,583.20 points, up 3.32 points from Thursday's close. The trade value was 1.63 billion baht, with 435 million shares traded.

The SET50 index opened at 1,003.59 points, up 2.07 points or 0.21%, with a total trade value of 1.02 billion baht.

The MAI index opened up 0.95 points or 0.16% to stand at 595.97 points with total transaction value of 81 million baht.
