TrueMove H wins ‘LTE Service Provider of the Year’ and ‘Mobile Service Provider of the Year’ awards

TrueMove H reaffirmed its position as a leading mobile service provider in Thailand, as well as in Asia-Pacific, with "LTE Service Provider of the Year" and "Mobile Service Provider of the Year" awards from "Asia Pacific ICT Awards 2017" – an award ceremony hosted by Frost & Sullivan business consulting firm.

The "Asia Pacific ICT Awards 2017" program acknowledges companies that excel in their business segments and display exceptional performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development. Company performance is measured through in-depth interviews, analysis, and research in order to identify the best organisation in each industry.

TrueMove H was awarded for its significant improvement in its business operation and service provision, particularly in mobile telecommunication industry. TrueMove H’s strength is its extensive mobile network as it has the most frequencies, making it the mobile service provider with the largest bandwidth in the country.

In addition, TrueMove H constantly develops its marketing strategies in order to properly serve the needs of its customers. This resulted in impressive revenue growth for the company last year.

During the first quarter of 2017, its mobile telecommunication business grew 24.3 percent over the same period of 2016. The outstanding growth of both revenue and customer base saw TrueMove H’s EBITDA rise 29.5% to approximately 7.3 billion baht, making it the second-largest mobile telecommunication operator in Thailand.

Furthermore, TrueMove H has continued to improve its Wi-Fi network. It currently has the most extensive nationwide 4G network that can reach over 98% of the Thai population. Most recently, the company launched 4.5G, or LTE-Advanced network, which is three times faster than 4G.

TrueMove H is also investing in its infrastructure in preparation for future expansions.  To prepare for the upcoming 5G era, the company previously deployed over 7,000 4T4R base stations, more than any other operator in the world, as certified by the Global Mobile Suppliers Association (GSA).

According to Suphachai Chearavanont, True Corporation’s Chairman of the Executive Committee,

"True Group continues growing strongly and moving forward with each success. We are focused on improving the efficiency of our telecom network and services by providing diverse convergence packages, implementing advanced digital and technological innovations, and striving to become a leader in IoT (Internet of Things). Plus, we are always analysing and adapting to prepare ourselves for changes in customer behaviour and technology. All these practices have helped True Group achieve great competitiveness, capability, financial strength, and sustainable growth. They are also a base for True Group to become a leader in driving the Thailand 4.0 era."
