ACE Voxy, the licence holder of the Voxy online platform, has opened an English Clinic offering free support for English learners.
Nattapon Chawla, managing director of Voxy Thailand, said the Voxy English Clinic will allow each learner to have personalised lessons.
Voxy is a platform that uses AI technology and live instruction from teachers through a mobile and desktop app.
Voxy has 5 million users worldwide and is Thailand's first digital language solution support centre.
With the first four Voxy English Clinics in Thailand, Voxy aims to improve the country's English proficiency level by bringing the future of digital learning to Thailand.
The opening event featured guests from both the private and public sectors and a panel discussion on Thailand's education future.
Korn Chatikavanij, a member of parliament and former finance minister, remarked on the importance of English for all and how solutions like Voxy can make the dream a reality.
"Voxy is one of four innovative edtech methods chosen from Stormbreaker Venture Batch 1, with the aim to disrupt and improve Thailand's education," said Jantanarak Tuekaew, managing director of Stormbreaker Venture and chief operating officer of Disrupt University.
"Voxy's AI technology uses live instruction, combined with additional off-line features, enabling Voxy to provide a truly customised and effective solution," she said. "ACE Voxy will further bridge the gap between online and offline learning, providing a remarkable learning experience."
A number of studies have found that digital learning is a new experience for many and adding a personal touch is essential.
