Swag Electric Vehicle (EV), an electric motorcycle company, plans to officially launch its vehicle in Thailand next month after recently opening its first store in Bangkok at Siam Square One.

The company expects to roll out two flagship models licensed to drive in the country.

Initially, the brand will introduce two types of bikes: Type X and Type S.

Both bikes come with removable batteries that can be plugged into any electric socket for charging and take two hours to fully charge.

The motors are made by Bosch, while the detachable 60-volt 26 AH battery for both models are from Samsung.

The bikes can cover a distance of 90 kilometres while fully charged and cost between 62,900 and 65,900 baht.

"Swag EV is honoured to open our new store in Siam Square One in Bangkok," said Janson Chen, director of Swag EV.

"We look forward to defining urban mobility and building a proactive reputation for being sustainable for the new generation."

Swag EV has scheduled an official launch in Thailand in November.

The company's electric motorbikes are available in Laos, Spain, and Greece and will soon enter Indonesia, The Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.
