“If we do absolutely nothing, it is likely that human civilisation will come to an end,” Vitanath Sincharoenkul, Director of Sri Trang Gloves (Thailand) Public Company Limited (STGT), noted during an interview with Bangkok Post.
Recently certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), an international non-profit organisation, for both Forest Management and Chain-of-Custody, STGT has become the first in the world capable of handling the entire rubber gloves’ manufacturing process, from producing raw materials to packing the products for delivery, in an environment-friendly manner.

“Besides,” Vitanath added, “rubber is a significant export of Thailand and a key driver of the country's economy. It is also a natural raw material whose plants can be regrown sustainably. Moreover, as a natural product, it can be naturally biodegradable and combustion of natural rubber glove is not as dangerous as that of chemical products.

Participation in the canonical movement of environmentalism for pedestrians can be very simple but does not usually make a massive impact. Big companies and large-scale manufacturers, on the other hand, when initiating change or embarking on environmental reform can plausibly render concrete outcomes.
