Madam Nguyen Thanh Ha, the Chairwoman of the Company’s Board and Madam Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao are two of the most well-known leaders of Vietjet. According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Thien, former head of Vietnam Institute of Economics, they are the “perfect duo” in the board of management. They are female leaders who can run a successful business smoothly and think big, do big, win big in both domestic and foreign markets.
Madam Nguyen Thanh Ha is one of the Co-founder and was appointed Chairwoman of the Company’s Board in 2007. She has extensive experience in the aviation industry in Vietnam. Prior to joining the Company, Madam Ha was Deputy Head of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV).
Keeping a low profile to the public media, Madam Ha is a simple and gentle woman who has a strong passion for her career. She is the one who chose the national flag color and the five-pointed golden star as the symbol of Vietjet aircraft, following the tradition of her splendid military family.
Having extensive experience in the aviation industry in Vietnam, Madam Ha as well as all member of Vietjet’s board of management are determined to make Vietjet the pioneering airline that can bring more flying opportunities for everyone and contribute to the development of Vietnam's aviation industry. Madam Ha is also the Chairwoman of the Security Committee, the Human Resources Committee, and the Head of the Covid-19 Emergency Committee of Vietjet. The Chairwoman of Vietjet once said that “We believe in a better future in the sky, on the airplanes’ wings and we always strive to bring that future closer”.
The other woman who always stay alongside with Madam Ha on Vietjet’s journey to conquer new skies is “Madame Thao”. That is a dear nickname given by colleagues and subordinates to Madam Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, the President & CEO and Co-founder of Vietjet.

Making her first US dollar million by the time she was 21, President & CEO Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao is the first self-made female billionaire who set up an airline. Until now, she has been four times in row included in Forbes magazine’s list of 100 most powerful women in the world and she was the only representative of Vietnam in the list.
However, the Hanoian woman always leaves a friendly and pleasant impression but not like one of the richest billionaires in Vietnam. Because of her simplicity and sincerity, Madam Thao prefers to be called “sister”, rather than “Madam” by others.
Madam Thao is respected by others by her tireless working capacity. She usually works until 2 a.m. and wakes up at 5 a.m. In a recent interview with the press, to answer the question "What is a lot of money for?", Madam Thao shared: "A lot of money is to realize big dreams and help more people!".
Madam Thao believes that women have the virtue of sacrifice, patience and resilience to overcome difficulties and achieve satisfaction in life.

Madam Thuy Binh is a beautiful woman of Hanoi origin, she is in charge of Vietjet's commercial development, market expansion and brand value development in the domestic and international markets. Madam Thuy Binh is also the Chairwoman of Vietjet Thailand - an associate airline established by Vietjet in Thailand.
Talking about the success of Vietjet, Ms. Thuy Binh revealed: “The difference and breakthrough of Vietjet is in how we look into the market. Vietjet sees the market like a glass of water. We do not look at what is already there, but at how much more can be poured into. With 100 million people, only 1% of Vietnamese people use air transport, so there’re 99% of space for Vietjet”.
Vice President Ho Ngoc Yen Phuong is in charge of one of the important fields - Finance. Madam Yen Phuong has more than 20 years of experience in finance, especially in regulating and managing capital, building financial-budget management systems, accounting management and internal audit.
