The Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), in cooperation with the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC),
jointly held a webinar on “Resilience Strategy: Thailand as an Innovative Investment Hub” to publicise Thailand’s attractive investment promotion policies and business opportunities to more than 700 Chinese and Hong Kong investors.
Mr. Supattanapong Punmeechaow, Deputy Prime Minister, delivered the opening remarks, while Ms. Duangjai Asawachintachit, Secretary General of the BOI, presented an update about investment policies and opportunities. Senior officials of the CCOIC and HKTDC delivered remarks on their cooperation with Thailand, while Mr. Abel Deng, CEO of Huawei Technologies (Thailand) shared his experience doing business in the country.
Officials from several Thai government agencies, namely the National Innovation Agency, the National Science & Technology Development Agency, and the Digital Economy Promotion Agency, gave presentations about their activities to drive and strengthen innovation.
