International Procurement Office (IPO) becomes a centre for management of raw materials, parts, and components on behalf of manufacturers.
IPO activities include:
• facilitating trading for manufacturers
• reducing manufacturing cost
• creating related businesses between buyers and vendors
• increasing domestic employment
Promoted projects will enjoy incentives such as:
• exemption of import duties on machinery
• exemption of import duties on raw materials used in export manufacture
• non-tax incentives
