The Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) Frankfurt Office held the 7th Thai-Belgian Business Forum: Thailand’s Post COVID-19 Investment & Economic Outlook “Think Resilience, Think Thailand”

webinar to promote investment opportunities in Thailand and discuss the economic trends. H.E. Mrs. Sibille de Cartier d'Yves, Belgium Ambassador to Thailand, and Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Minister and Deputy Head of Mission of Thailand to the European Union (Chargé d’affaires), gave opening remarks. Speakers included: BOI Deputy Secretary General Ms. Sonklin Ploymee; BOI Frankfurt Office Director Sanlaya Aksharamat; Federation of Thai Industries Vice Chairman Vathit Chokwatana, and; Belgian-Luxembourg/Thai Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Philip Coates.

Huge drug hauls in Songkhla, 2 arrested

SONGKHLA: Police seized a total of 882,000 methamphetamine pills and 5.6 kilogrammes of crystal methamphetamine in two separate actions in Hat Yai and Bang Klam districts last week, Provincial Police Region 9 commissioner Pol Lt Gen Ronnasin Pusara said at a press conference on Sunday. Two suspects were arrested.
