Centara Hotels & Resorts will open a new resort in the United Arab Emirates in October -- the Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai, which is located on the Deira Islands.
The beachfront family resort is a joint venture with UAE developer Nakheel and part of the company's expansion plans into the Middle East hospitality sector.
Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai will be the group's first property in the UAE and its third Centara Mirage property after Thailand and Vietnam.
The hotel offers a choice of 607 seaview guest rooms and suites and features a water park with a lazy river, beachfront swimming pool, and other family friendly facilities including a Mirage family lounge for club level guests, dedicated kids' spa, outdoor playground, along with three kids' clubs.
The original Central Mirage property, the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya, opened in 2009 and has since become Thailand's number one family destination hotel.
