Brandverse preps B20m for metaverse

Brandverse, a metaverse design and service provider, is investing more than 20 million baht to develop a metaverse ecosystem, joining hands with over 50 organisations to catch the surging wave of this virtual environment tech.

The firm launched a multiverse bridge platform, called T-Verse, via www.tverse.world yesterday.

Organisations can develop their own verse where customers can virtually visit and interact through avatars. Visitors can traverse to other verses with convenience on the platform.

The platform provides 13 orbits of verses. A total of 985 verses are to be used by organisations to create their own community.

Nattasate Trithipcharoenchai, chief executive of Brandverse, under marketing tech firm Jenosize Digital Group, said the platform will provide a new opportunity for anyone to live in the form of a 3D digital avatar under the concept of "Social, shop, play, work and learn" without boundaries.

"The metaverse is the upcoming trend that is the next wave of the internet and next evolution after smartphones," said Mr Nattasate.

Brandverse sees businesses seeking to enter the metaverse but they lack the knowledge to do so and T-Verse gives them a chance to join, he said.

The creation of T-Verse involves advanced tech to create a typical metaverse in Thai style.

"We have virtual identity avatar tech that allows avatars to traverse across verses with seamless integration and sector-crossing convenience," he said.

Other business partners on the platform include 7-Eleven, CPN, Channel3 Plus,Denso, Dharmniti, Divana, GMM Grammy, KBTG, Krungsri Bank, Millcon, Ngern Tid Lor, D-Land Group, PTTGC, PTT OR, Property Perfect, SC Asset, Siam Piwat, Thairath, The Mall Group, Central Watson, Zipmex and Token X by SCB.

More than 50 organisations are linked with the project, including some government agencies such as the Department of International Trade Promotion and the National Innovation Agency.

T-Verse is now in the second phase of development, he said.

"Every verse of organisations will keep their own customer data," said Mr Nattasate. T-Verse now earns from virtual land space sales and could establish a revenue sharing model for businesses in the future.

In the second quarter, the firm will launch a T-Verse coin based on Ethereum blockchain for transactions in the platform, he said.
