The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index dropped 4.70 points, or 0.31%, to close at 1,524.53 points today.

Total trading value was 41.4 billion baht, with 11.64 billion shares changed hands.

The SET50 index ended at 1,026.21 points, down 3.47 points, or 0.34%, in trade worth 21.16 billion baht.

The MAI index went up 7.90 points, or 1.51%, to close at 529.81 points, with total transaction value of 3.13 billion baht.

Local institutions and retail investors were net sellers of 1.51 billion and 198.59 million baht. Brokers and foreign investors were net buyers of 122.99 million and 1.59 billion baht.
