IRPC Public Co., Ltd. received a Golden Peacock Award 2012 for Excellence in Corporate Governance from the Institute of Directors (IOD) of India.
The awards are bestowed for corporate governance that demonstrates excellent organizational management at national level.
The company’s Corporate Governance Committee represented by Chairman Cherdpong Siriwit received the award from the Rt Hon. Eric Pickles, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government Department, United Kingdom, and Former Prime Minister of Sweden and Co-Chairman of World Assembly on Forests and Sustainable Development, Ola Ullsten. Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Port & Asset Management Business Unit and Acting Senior Executive Vice President Corporate Commercial & Marketing, as Chairman of the Working Committee of Corporate Governance system development (CGW), Chansin Treenuchagron also represented IRPC at the award presentation ceremony at the Global Corporate Governance Convention 2012 in London, United Kingdom.
